Emily Olson

Emily Olson joined the Lake Area Technical College faculty in August 2024 as a Dental Assisting/Dental Hygiene Instructor. She is a graduate of the LATC Dental Assisting program and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of South Dakota. With more than 12 years of experience as a dental hygienist, Emily is passionate about helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for successful careers. Emily and her husband, Adam, live in Watertown with their two daughters, Addysen and Everlie. When she’s not teaching, she can usually be found cheering on her girls at volleyball, gymnastics, track, and competitive cheer events. She also enjoys coffee, reading, and spending time outdoors with her family golfing, boating, and camping.
