Dena Weller

Dena Weller joined Lake Area Technical College in August 2025 as a CNA Instructor. She began her career in long-term care in 1990 as a CNA before pursuing nursing school and earning her LPN license in 2007. In 2012, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, which led her to serve as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.

With more than three decades of experience in healthcare, Dena brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for patient care and education to her role.

Outside of work, she enjoys camping and vacationing with her 9 grandchildren, celebrating Christmas with family in her Kansas hometown, and working on DIY projects such as making signs, bath bombs, and t-shirts. She also loves taking long walks with her husband and their dog, Jazzy.
