Danielle Karels

Danielle holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus in Nursing Administration from South Dakota State University. She began her nursing career in 2005 as an ICU nurse, a role she held until 2013. From there, she worked in rural hospital settings until 2021, when she joined Sanford Health. Currently, she serves as the Manager of Clinical Learning Strategies, overseeing Student Services and the ANCC program. In addition to her leadership role, she has shared her expertise as a clinical adjunct nursing instructor since 2016.

Outside of work, she enjoys walking, traveling, camping, swimming, cheering on her children in their activities, and spending quality time with her family.
