Calvin Schmahl joined Lake Area Technical College in September 2025 as a Custodian. He plans to begin coursework at Lake Area Tech in the future, with an interest in pursuing a CDL B.

His work experience includes roles with the City of Watertown Parks and Recreation Department, Commercial Cleaning Services Inc., and T&R Service, where he gained skills in cleaning, lawn care, and general maintenance.

In their his time, he enjoys video games, reading graphic novels and comics, biking, and spending time in his hometown of Watertown, SD.
