Ashley Wendler

Ashley Wendler is a Clinical Instructor at Lake Area Technical College, where she has supported online nursing students during their medical/surgical clinical rotations since 2017. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing – Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, as well as nursing and exercise science degrees from the University of Sioux Falls, Minnesota State University Mankato, and St. Catherine University.

Ashley has experience in non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostics and has worked in various nursing roles including PACU/Cardiac Cath Lab, interventional radiology, and cardiac rehab. She managed the Cardiac Rehab Program at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital from 2015–2021 and currently works in Case Management at Avera.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys life in Aberdeen, SD, with her husband Terry and their three children. She loves spending time at the lake, reading, yoga, gardening, and being with family and friends.
