Amanda Wientjes

Amanda Wientjes joined Lake Area Tech as a Dental Assisting Instructor in August of 2025. She is a 2011 graduate of LATC with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Assisting and earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of South Dakota in 2013. Amanda spent 12 years with ISD Dental Lab/Embrace Dentistry, serving in various roles including Dental Lab Manager and Dental Hygienist.

Amanda has lived in Watertown since 2009. She and her husband, Colton—also a Lake Area Tech graduate—have been happily married for 12 years and have two children, Lincoln and Lainey. She enjoys camping, reading, DIY home projects, a good cup of coffee, and cheering on her kids at their sporting events.
