99.1% Placement Rate

Placement reflects the success of our graduates. Based on the Class of 2024, 99% of graduates are employed or continuing their education within six months of graduation.

82% Employment Rate

Since 1965, placement outcomes have remained strong, with a majority of graduates choosing to live and work in South Dakota.

70.9% Graduation Rate

More than 23,000 students have graduated from Lake Area Tech. A strong majority of students who start here complete their program.

84% Retention Rate

Lake Area Tech is committed to supporting students throughout their education. Dedicated resources, including a retention coordinator, help students stay on track both academically and personally.

75% Student Employment Rate

While enrolled, 75% of students work part-time or full-time, gaining experience alongside their education.

$450,000 Scholarships Awarded

Through the support of businesses, alumni, and community partners, the Foundation awarded more than $450,000 in scholarships this past academic year.
