Mitchell Barker joins Lake Area Technical College as a CNH Trainer, bringing a wealth of industry experience and a strong background in agricultural equipment service and management. A graduate of LATC’s Diesel Technology program, Mitchell has built a successful career with Titan Machinery, serving in a variety of roles including Service Technician, Service Advisor, Service Manager, and Sales Representative. His broad experience provides students with valuable insight into both the technical and business aspects of the agricultural equipment industry.

Mitchell is passionate about sharing real-world knowledge and helping students develop the skills needed to succeed in today’s agricultural service and equipment careers. His years of hands-on experience and leadership within the industry allow him to connect classroom learning with practical application.

Mitchell and his wife live in Castlewood, South Dakota, with their four children. As a family, they enjoy camping, fishing, boating, swimming, and hunting. Mitchell has proudly served on the Castlewood Fire Department for more than a decade, and his wife coaches junior high volleyball. Together, they stay actively involved in their community and enjoy spending time outdoors whenever possible.
