Heather joined the Lake Area Technical College team in August 2021 as a General Education and Psychology instructor. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Human Services, a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Administration, and a Master’s Degree in Psychology, all earned online through Purdue University. She is also an adjunct faculty member in the Psychology Department at Mount Marty University. Heather is President of 4 the Kids SD, a nonprofit organization that provides lunches for students in Codington, Hamlin, and Clark counties in South Dakota. She is also a board member of the Watertown Foster Closet, which supplies essentials for children in foster care. She resides in Watertown with her partner, Jon, and has two adult children, Jacob and Hailey. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and attending concerts.
