Physical Therapy

Webster’s Dictionary defines physical therapy as “the treatment of disease, injury, etc. by physical means, as exercise, massage, etc.”  As a physical therapist, I must tell you that while the definition is correct, the etceteras are very long.  The purpose of this web site is to help you determine if you are interested in learning all that the field of physical therapy involves.  Studying to be a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant requires determination and stamina.  So as you determine if this profession interests you, you must also determine if you are ready to make the commitment to the education.  Please explore the following web pages and video links.  When you are finished, please complete the written essay questions that will be emailed to the Admissions Office.   If you have questions, please do not hesitate to email or call me.
