USD FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE
The University of South Dakota participates in programs which provide various types of financial aid to students. There are a limited number of Federal nursing loans and nursing scholarships available pending legislation. In addition, the University aids many students through scholarships, grants-in-aid, loans and part-time employment. Details are available through the Office of the Director of Financial Aid.

NURSING PROGRAM COST

The nursing student pays the same fees as any other University of South Dakota student at each campus. Additional approximate costs include:
Uniform $25 - 100
Liability Ins./year $25
Books $800 - 1000
Nursing discipline fee/sem $302
ATI Testing/sem $55
It is important that the student realizes that if he/she has a break in the usual curricular pattern, he/she may find that completion of the nursing curriculum may take more that the two years, but must be completed in five years.
