Jackie Coleman

Jackie Coleman is a cosmetology instructor at Lake Area Tech. She began her education at Lake Area Tech and finished it at Kay Pardoll Beauty College in New Mexico. She has been an independent owner/operator of her salon for 20 plus years. Jackie has been an instructor in the esthetic/nail division since 2007.

Cindy Heemeyer

Cindy Lou is a graduate of the Cosmetology Department at Lake Area Technical Institute. Her professional experience includes being a styles director, a salon owner and a senior cosmetology instructor. She holds a SD Postsecondary Teacher Certificate, Senior Instructor License and a Cosmetologist License. Her awards include a first place at the SD state hair cutting contest. She started her teaching career at Lake Area Tech in 1980 and has been department supervisor since 2007.

Angela Larson

Angela graduated from Estelline High School in 2001. In 2002 she graduated from Lake Area Technical Institute in the Cosmetology program. She worked prior to Lake Area Tech, at JCPenney Salon in Watertown since 2002 as a full time Senior Designer. Angela has a senior cosmetology instructor license and a cosmetologist license. Her experience includes being a substitute instructor for the Lake Area Cosmetology department since 2004-2008. Since July of 2008 she has worked as the instructor for the hair division. She is married and enjoys spending her spare time outdoors.

Shawn Lohr

Shawn is a graduate of Lake Area Technical Institute's Cosmetology Department. She has 19 years of professional experience and has been a salon owner since 1991. Shawn began her teaching career at LATI in 2001 and is the current preclinical instructor.

Rosemary York

Rosemary graduated from Watertown Business University. Originally from Castlewood, she moved to Watertown in 1970. She worked at Production Credit Association for 12 years, then decided to become a full time homemaker and raise her two daughters. In January 2003, Rosemary joined the Cosmetology staff as receptionist. Her husband, Roger, farms west of Watertown. Rosemary's hobbies include reading, long walks, and watching her daughters' softball games.
