Jason Frerichs

Jason Frerichs

Jason is an instructor in the agriculture department where he also teaches high school students enrolled in the dual credit agriculture program. He also serves as the Watertown Area FFA Chapter advisor. Jason graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Education. He lives on the family farm near Wilmot where he farms with his brothers and father. Jason also manages his own cow/calf operation. During his spare time he enjoys spending time with his three nephews, riding horse, and discussing politics.

Yolanda Goodman

Yolanda Goodman

Yolanda graduated from North Dakota State University in 2002 with a B.S. in Animal Science. Upon completion she began her professional career in the dairy industry as a herdsman at Northwestern Dairy LLLP, a 400 cow new start-up dairy, in Parshall, ND. After spending two years at Northwestern Dairy LLLP, she moved on to spend three years at a large (2000 cow) modern dairy facility in Milbank, SD where she was also involved in several herd expansions. She has extensive experience in managing health issues in the lactation, dry cow, and calf programs in both the large and small scale dairy.

Rich Hetland

Rich graduated from SDSU in 1972 with a B.S. degree in General Agriculture. He was instrumental in starting the Agri-Production Program in 1972. He has previously taught teacher in-service classes at SDSU. Rich has been named Jaycee's Outstanding Young Educator and NVATA Outstanding Ag Educator in South Dakota. Rich most recently has taken training from Case-IH on Combine Productivity and GPS mapping software. He teaches primarily in the Ag Mechanics and Farm Management areas

Floyd Lehman

Floyd Lehman

Floyd has teaching experience in the secondary system as well as both the veteran's and adult farm management areas besides his sixteen years of instruction at LATI. He served on the national working committee for Reinventing Agricultural Education for the Year 2020 - an initiative to reposition and strengthen the agricultural and food system for the 21st century. Floyd is also on the working group for Risk Management - a special project of the National FFA Foundation and the National Council for Agricultural Education. Floyd has attended many workshops through the years sponsored by various industries in conjunction with the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) . Floyd was certified as a PQA youth educator/verifier in June 2000.
