Jim Buhler

Jim Buhler has been the Welding Technology instructor for Lake Area Tech for the last eleven years. He is a graduate of Washington High School in Sioux Falls, SD. Prior to LATI, Jim was a welder at KW Manufacturing, TEEM Enterprises, Prairie State Equipment, and Hills Stainless Steel. Jim has also been self-employed in welding and manufacturing for seven years.

Jamison Jalbert

Jamison graduated from Lake Area Technical Institute in 2001 in the Welding program. He started his career with Angus Palm, where he was there welding lead person for 7yrs and a trainer for 3yrs. Jamison is also a certified AWS Welding Educator. He is married and has 2girls, where they reside at their ranch in South Shore, SD.

Brian Mumm

Brian graduated from Lake Area Technical Institute in the Welding program. After graduation he started working for Angus Palm as a welding lead person, he worked there for 12yrs. He started working for Lake Area Tech in January of 2008. He also spends a majority of his time instructing and training in the Madison school for their program, where Lake Area Tech supplies them with an instructor.
