Alison Albertson

Alison graduated from Watertown Senior High, continued her education at South Dakota State University in Brookings, interned at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls to earn a BS in Medical Technology. She completed her MS degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of North Dakota. Before coming to Lake Area Tech as an MLT instructor, she worked for Memorial Medical Center as a medical technologist and at Prairie Lakes Hospital as a quality assurance analyst.

Mona Gleysteen

Mona is an instructor in the Medical Laboratory Technician program and teaches the General Microbiology course. She attended USD, graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in Microbiology, trained at McKennan hospital in Sioux Falls, and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a MS in Medical Technology. Prior to coming to Lake Area, Mona worked as a medical technologist at Brown Clinic and Memorial Hospital.
