Jackie Abel

Jackie began teaching at LATI in the fall of 2005 in the Human Services Technician program. She graduated from Mankato State University in 1986 with a degree in Home Economics Education. Prior to teaching at LATI, she was employed for 18 years at the Human Service Agency in Watertown, SD, where she worked with adults with developmental disabilities. She served as a group home supervisor, case manager, and most recently as the behavior intervention specialist. She is married and has one daughter.

Karen Breitag

Karen is an instructor in the Human Services program at LATI. She has an Elementary Education degree from Mt. Marty College. Karen and her husband have been married for 15 years and have four daughters. She enjoys the outdoors, physical activity, raising/training/showing horses, and being active in many organizations..
