Julie is an office assistant for the Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Building Trades and Diesel programs. She has been employed with LATI since 2000. Julie graduated from Milbank High School and North Dakota State School of Science. She is married with 3 children.

Jesse Larson

Jesse Larson

Jesse began his teaching career at LATI in 2009. He was a SD State FFA officer in 2003-2004 and worked for Butler Machinery Company for over 3 years as a diesel technician. He is a graduate of the LATI Diesel Program. Jesse is ASE certified in Diesel and Gas engines, HVAC, and electrical.

Ron Meidinger

Ron Meidinger

Ron came to LATI after a successful career as the owner-operator of an engine machine shop. Ron is a past graduate of the LATI Automotive Technology program and became an instructor with the LATI Diesel Technology program in 1994. He is ASE Certified in Gas Engines, Diesel Engines, Drive Trains, Brakes, and Suspension and Steering. He also maintains ASE Engine Machinist Master Certification.

Corey Mushitz

Corey Mushitz

Corey began his teaching career at LATI in the fall term of 2005. Corey is ASE certified in HVAC, Preventive Maintenance, and Diesel Engines. He has an A.A.S. degree in Diesel Technology and six years experience as a heavy truck technician.

Terry Peterson

Terry Peterson

Terry began his teaching career at LATI in 2009. He has over 3 years experience as a diesel truck technician. He holds a Master Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technician certification from ASE. Terry is also a graduate of the LATI Diesel Technology program.

Jeremy Riley

Jeremy Riley

Jeremy began his teaching career in the fall of 2009. He was a substitute instructor for the LATI Diesel Technology department for three semesters. He worked as a heavy duty truck mechanic for three years. Jeremy graduated from LATI Diesel Technology in 2001 and is ASE certified in diesel engines and drive trains.

Carl Tesch

Carl Tesch

Carl began teaching at LATI Diesel Technology in 1982. Carl is a graduate of Watertown High School and South Dakota State University with a B.S. in Vocational Technical Teacher Education. Prior work experience includes three years on heavy equipment maintenance and repair and five years on medium/heavy truck repair. Carl is a certified Cummins Fuel System technician, holds a Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician certification from ASE (automotive service excellence) and Advanced Level Electronic Diesel Engine Diagnosis certification from ASE. Carl has also worked with Multi state Academic and Vocational Curriculum Consortium (MAVCC) to help develop diesel curriculum textbooks since 1983.

Dan Zimprich

Dan Zimprich

Dan began his teaching career at LATI in 1995 after eleven years with Codington-Clark Equipment as a diesel technician. He is also a past graduate of the LATI Diesel Technology program. Dan is ASE Certified in Diesel Engines, Brakes, HVAC, Preventive Maintenance.
