The Lake Area Tech Diesel Technology program believes that stressing co-worker interaction, team work and development of a strong work ethic, combined with student mastery of competencies, will provide students with marketable skills in the diesel technology field and provide the industry with well-trained technicians.

About The Diesel Technology Program

• ASE Master Certified Truck Curriculum.

• ASE certified instructional staff.

• Large number of heavy-duty training aid diesel engines.

• Many state-of-the-art computer-controlled training aid diesel engines.

• Late model farm tractor/combine training aids including John Deere 7330 FWA, CNH 7120 Combine,CNH 140 Puma FWA, John Deere 8100 FWA, Case Maxxum FWA, Ford New Holland bi-directional, CNH JX70.

• Late model class 8 heavy truck training aids including 2006 FLD120 Freightliner.

• Late model construction equipment training aids: 420E Caterpillar Backhoe loader, 938H Caterpillar Motor Grader, and 950G Caterpillar Wheel Loader.

• General and program scholarships are available.

• Students have easy access to computers (including Internet).

• Many software programs available through the LAN including service manuals, parts manuals and preparatory ASE testing.
