LATI Online Computer Information Systems Program

LATI will be offering the CIS program online beginning spring semester, 2007 (classes start January 4th).  While not all classes are available in an online format, many of them are and the number will continue to grow.  Due to hardware requirements, it will still be necessary for students to travel to the LATI campus for specific portions of certain classes. 

All online courses are conducted using Lake Area Technical Institute’s eLearning system.

The program is available to anyone meeting the admission requirements.  Students with transferable general education credits and / or prior learning experience may be able to reduce the amount of time needed to complete the program.  Your academic advisor will help you design an education plan that meets your needs.

Is CIS for you?

If you are creative, detail-oriented, have an aptitude for logical thinking and enjoy troubleshooting problems, you should consider a career in one of the computer areas.  Students can specialize in one of four options: Networking, Cisco, Programming, and Graphics / Web Design.
