Lake Area Technical Institute held its 5th annual Internetworking Competition. We had a smaller turnout than normal and are hoping it had something to do with the transaction to the new Cisco curriculum. Students demonstrated their skills in constructing patch cables, configuring routers, and troubleshooting networks. Students demonstrated their knowledge by way of an online test and a design problem that utilized Packet Tracer. This year the winning students received a combination of flash drives, t-shirts, an mp3 player, and other assorted prizes. All of the students that competed indicated they had fun and felt it was a great learning experience making this year competition another success.
