We had a panel of IT professionals representing a variety of business and industries. Each professional introduced themselves and gave a brief background of their education or path into the IT field and short overview of their current position. Students were then given the opportunity to ask questions. A special Thank you goes to the IT professionals that so generously donated their time for this event. They were: Laura Newman from Human Services, Tony Dahle and Loran Olson from Daktronics, Ryan Wells and Brian VanVleet from Angus Palm, and Rob Simmermon from Terex Utilities.
Our Thanks goes to Clydene Stangvik the Area Academy Manager for the Midwest region of the Cisco Networking Academy who brought several door prizes. These were greatly appreciated by both students and teachers. Pictured below is Clydene and the attending Instructors.

Lake Area networking students administer and judge the events. Without their help this would not be possible.
