Credits Required for Graduation: 76.5
Programming students at LATI will design
and write many computer applications while they are here,
concentrating mainly on business-oriented programs. Students
gain hands-on experience working on a multitude of platforms
including midrange systems, PCs, and portable devices (PDAs,
cell phones, etc.).
Computer programs all
depend on data in one way or another. At LATI, programming
students will work with such databases as IBM DB2, MS Access,
MS SQL2000, and Oracle to supply data to the programs they
create.
LATI strives to keep current
with technology and the demand from the programming community.
As new languages evolve (and job opportunities to go with
them), we will incorporate those languages into our curriculum.
