Benefits of Bookstore Lease-to-Own Laptops
- On campus tech support by the Information Technology Department. LATI Technicians are available on campus for the leased laptops to troubleshoot computer and software problems.
- Software use available through L.A.T.I. licensing for leased laptops. Depending on the program, software can cost over $2000 for students to purchase if they do not have a leased laptop. Even when leasing a laptop some programs may require students to purchase specific software.
- If a laptop is damaged or needs to be sent for repair, a loaner laptop is provided for those that lease laptops. If you own your own laptop, no loaners are provided and other companies may ask for the laptop to be sent in for repair, leaving you without a laptop to use for classes.
- A 3 year warranty with accidental damage protection is provided on the leased laptops! Most companies will usually provide the 1 year warranty, but do not include the accidental damage coverage in their pricing.
- Laptop payments can be made over 3 to 4 semesters depending on the program in which the student is enrolled.
- There is no fee for on-campus internet use for leased laptops.
