Admissions Deadlines

Most programs at Lake Area Technical Institute do not set deadlines for admission. Although, early applications are recommended for students who want to be certain of being admitted to the program of their choice due to limited enrollment.

Programs that have deadlines:


    1 + 1 Nursing (Practical Nursing) - Campus Based - Fall 2011

  • CNET Testing deadline - Wednesday, December 15, 2010
  • Application Deadline - Wednesday, December 15, 2010
  • Transcripts - NOON on Thursday, December 30, 2010
  • Applications will be accepted for the Fall 2011Nursing program from September 1, 2010 through December 15, 2010.

    1 + 1 Nursing (Practical Nursing) - Online (Full Time) - Fall 2011

  • CNET Testing deadline - Friday, March 4, 2011
  • Application Deadline - Friday, March 4, 2011
  • Transcripts - on Friday, March 4, 2011
  • Applications will be accepted for the Fall 2011 Nursing program from September 1, 2010 through March 4, 2011.

*Note: Applications may be accepted after March 4 if the program does not have a full class. Check with the Admissions Office for enrollment levels after May 1.

    1 + 1 Nursing (Practical Nursing) - Online (Part Time) - January 2011

  • CNET Testing deadline - Friday, October 1, 2010
  • Application Deadline - Friday, October 1, 2010
  • Transcripts - on Friday, October 1, 2010
  • Applications will be accepted for the Fall 2010 Nursing program from March 1, 2010 through October 1, 2010.

*Note: Applications may be accepted after October 1 if the program does not have a full class. Check with the Admissions Office for enrollment levels after October 1.

Deadline for Financial Aid

Since funds under the Perkins, Work Study and SEOG programs are limited by institution, it is suggested that you apply prior to April 15th by using the FAFSA application. Applications signed before April 15th will be given priority for school based aid. However, this does not affect eligibility for Pell Grant or the Stafford Loan Programs.
