Mission Statement

The Lake Area Technical Institute Foundation actively supports Lake Area Technical Institute in providing superior, technical education which leads to career opportunities for its students.

Vision Statement

• The Foundation develops and delivers programs that assist LATI in attracting and educating students.

• In support of continued excellence at Lake Area Technical Institute, the Foundation will continually increase the amount of scholarship awards provided each year. The Foundation anticipates that its asset base will reach $1.5 million dollars by December 31, 2010.

• The Foundation will create and enhance relationships that develop and expand partnerships with individuals, businesses and industries for the benefit of Lake Area Technical Institute and its students.

• Annually, it will provide enhancement marketing designed to increase the understanding and appreciation for Lake Area Technical Institute, its students and technical education.

The Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of 16 volunteer community leaders who oversee the annual giving drive, scholarship awarding process, financial reports, investment strategies and special event activities. There are eight ex officio members on the Board who provide a link between the Board of Directors and Lake Area Technical Institute.
