Two day classroom instruction covers the CDL handbook and prepares individuals to take and pass the written exam. The class will cover general knowledge, air brakes, combination vehicles, hazardous materials, and tankers, double and triple axles. Once the class concludes, individuals are ready to visit their local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to take the exam. Price does not include cost of the exam or any extra endorsements.
If you have previous driving experience, we offer a one-on-one refresher training class with an experience truck driver instructor. This training would be excellent for an individual who has obtained their CDL Instructional Permit and needs some time behind the wheel in preparation for the CDL Skills (driving) Exam.
We have several individuals that are qualified as third party testers for the northeast area of South Dakota. Successfully passing this driving test will earn you your CDL. This testing is offered year round. You must currently possess your instructional permit and have a current South Dakota Drivers License.
