Scholarships

The Lake Area Tech Foundation awards over 200 scholarships each year. Funding for these scholarships is made possible by an Annual Giving Drive, Endowed Accounts, Growth Accounts, The Seagull Club, and through special events. Students must be enrolled 12 credit hours per semester and maintain the satisfactory progress requirements as stated in the student catalog to qualify for scholarship awards.

All Foundation scholarships are valid only at Lake Area Technical Institute. Applicants must be accepted in a program of study at Lake Area Technical Institute before making scholarship application.

If a scholarship recipient chooses not to attend Lake Area Technical Institute, the scholarship will be reallocated.

Lake Area Tech Foundation Scholarships

Merit Scholarships

If you have the ACT score listed below and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, you will automatically receive the Merit Scholarship amount shown. No application is necessary for Merit Scholarships; however, we encourage you to complete the LATI Scholarship Application for additional scholarships.

Foundation Scholarships

Regardless of your ACT score, by completing the LATI Foundation application you are applying for all scholarships for which you are eligible as an incoming student. The scholarship amounts listed below are subject to change without notification.

Achievement Scholarships

Each year, twenty-five $500 Achievement Scholarships are available. One scholarship is available in each program at Lake Area Tech. Applications for these scholarships are made available in the fall.
