The training you need. Farming is a complex business, and today's farmers should be fully equipped. At LATI, you'll get hands-on training with the latest technology. You'll also learn the best up-and-coming practices, so you can return to your farm or ranch and make it thrive.
As a student of this 18 month option, you'll receive foundational training in marketing, management, maintenance, and technology. To make sure you have the skills you'll need, we require you to perform extensive record keeping procedures (during the spring semester of your first year), and complete an internship with an area agri-business and/or veterinarian (during your second year). Our Ag Production students are also involved in management decisions at LATI's demonstration farm.
